This photo is rather simple compared to the amount of time I put into it. This took me over an hour to complete. I had some trouble because I forgot how to line stroke the pen tool. I felt like an idiot when I realized all I had to do was change the pen tool setting.

As always, I start with a pen and paper sketch. I drew all the various elements out of place because I knew I could put it together in Photoshop anyways. The "cutie pie" logo eventually ended up on Xion's shirt, and I replaced Sora's head entirely because I didn't think he looked young enough.

One of the biggest reasons why it took so long was because I had to use some reference material for the dolls. I had to look up a moogle, a heartless, a dusk, and an unversed. One of the problems I have with the picture is that the shading is inconsistent. I usually make it up as I go, but in this case, I used up so much time, I just wanted to end the drawing already. It didn't turn out too bad though.
