Event Log: 2/28/14 - The Finishing Blow

After playing the four final games of the season to reach the playoffs as my shooting guard in NBA 2K14, I decided to check up on the TwitchPlaysPokemon stream to witness the finale, and by finale, I mean the finishing blow by Zapdos on Blastoise.

Pretty amazing to see the end of such a crazy experience. I didn't invest as much time as others did, but I'm glad the whole thing is over. As a social experiment, the stream was a resounding success, and I believe the world of Pokemon and video game streaming will be forever altered. I'm glad I was a small part of it, because you bet this will be recorded in the annals of history.

Just goes to show that nothing is impossible if we all put our heads together--and an ungodly amount of hours. Praise be to Helix.

With my first planned week almost over, I discovered a couple issues that I could iron out for better productivity. For one, my goals were top heavy and skewed towards video games. I should focus less on that and put more of my goals on writing. I had a lot more slack than I anticipated, but certain tasks require more devotion and time and shouldn't be shared with others in the same day.

I'll be increasing the work load for next week. At least now I know where to tighten up my schedule.

I can't believe I split the last four games of the season. Some of the losses were bullshit too. I won MVP and Rookie of the Year award, as well as a spot on the All Defensive team. I'm taking the Trailblazers all the way to the promised land.

I made significant progress through Deadly Premonition, but it seems like I'm gonna have to pull an all day'er to beat it by tomorrow.

Things are looking grim for my next Mister Cinderella update. Hopefully I can make enough revisions for it to be presentable.
