I honestly thought the MyGM series would last longer than it did, but I lost myself and went above and beyond the limits of time, barreling into the future at full force until putting together a narrative from the events I created would no longer work on a microscopic level.
I expected my first season to last longer, but I think the way it turned out was a more interesting than if I had stuck to conventional storytelling. There's no lack of these types of stories on OperationSports, but how often does someone simulate that far into the future? Not many, I'd imagine. Although it's funny how the introduction was so slow and then boom! More than half a century flies by and it's over. That's all, folks.
In other news, I squeezed out the latest chapter of Mister Cinderella. It was supposed to come out last week so I might've rushed it. It lacks my usual detailed thought process. I wanted to move things along briskly. You might notice there's a dearth of romance. That's intentional. It'll slowly dawn on readers that this isn't a romance, but rather, a story about something else. What that is, well, you'd have to continue reading to find out.
I had a real scary dream when I woke up this morning. You can read all about it on my Tumblr. I know it's a popular dream but when I read the possible interpretations, none of it applies. I'll just chalk it up to total subconscious randomness.
I finally closed out the Nuggets as my shooting guard in the first round of the playoffs and achieved the fabled five by five stat line. At least five points, five assists, five rebounds, five steals, and five blocks (and turnovers, but let's forget about that).
I haven't set my plan for this week. I should probably do that tomorrow.
