An interesting game caught my eye on NeoGAF called "Thought It Was A Harem Paradise, It Was a Yandere Hell." The forum members joked as usual, posting images from a manga called Koharu no Hibi. It's about a girl who is crazy obsessive about a boy.
[SPOILER ALERT]
Usually, an offhand reference or recommendation on a forum is enough to get me reading something new. I finished the whole thing and anxiously waited for the other shoe to drop. After all, when a girl is insanely possessive, it can only end in murder, right?
Alas, it was not to be. Instead, they ended up "happily ever after." I checked out what people thought of the ending and most were disappointed. Ironically, instead of the bloody ending most people expected, we get a "happy ending" that's far more disturbing since the protagonist ultimately gives into his girlfriend's obsession.
Just goes to show being crazy pays.
[END SPOILER]
While I was waiting for my mom to finish cooking pho, I held my niece in my arms for the first time. She's put on some weight. She's reached the point where she mimics what she sees. I couldn't help smiling when I held her and when she looked into my eyes and smiled back, it was goddamned magical. Babies are adorable!
My friend and I beat Dead Nation. It was fun and a good addition to PS+. We started up a new game on Morbid difficulty. Since we know how everything is laid out, we didn't die even though it's harder. That's how my night ended.
