It feels good to get another chapter out there. I was working on Mister Cinderella intermittently throughout the day. Like usual, I cut out the last part of the chapter and pushed it into the next one. I do it for pacing reasons and because I'm too lazy to revise.
I finished Love Lab on Crunchyroll and got another achievement out of it. I watched SAO Extra and it was a total retread. Might as well remove all the flashbacks and make it a thirty-minute OVA. It reminded me of everything I hated about the show like the terrible premise.
Thanks to all the VR buzz, I read through Ressentiment. It was interesting but there's only so much loser I can take from a protagonist. Seems like the hallmark of your average manga protagonist is being a spineless perverted wimp.
I'm reading Seishun Pop! right now and yeah, there are definitely some annoying quirks in there.
When I think about it, Mister Cinderella is my counter to Ichigo 100%. I can't tell you how much that manga pissed me off. I think you can tell from my stories that I prefer characters who are highly capable.
Then again, in something like Shokugeki no Soma, a highly skilled individual who is dense to the attention of girls around him is kind of annoying as well, but not as much. At least they're not useless in all aspects of life.
