Event Log: 3/16/14 - Under Pressure

I hate making big decisions over the weekend. It's supposed to be my free time. I don't want to be agonizing over anything. My brain should be clear and free of any distractions. I think this week, more than anything, showed the chaos sown by lack of proper planning. I'm gonna have to scramble to make up for loss time. It's gonna be messy, but slapdash work is better than nothing.

I decided to accept the freelance contract. It sucks because this week is gonna be big for gaming. Rumors point to Sony's VR solution to being unveiled and MGS: Ground Zeroes and Infamous: Second Son are coming out. I'm not gonna buy any of it even though my PS4 is starving for new content. Why? Because my backlog is ginormous. I'd rather save money in the long run, if nothing else.

The terms of the freelance contract are extremely flexible. I have to follow basic guidelines and turn in a minimum of five articles per week. It's gonna take some time to ramp up my production since my Master Plan didn't account for this development. Hopefully, I'll be able to complete everything I need to by the end of this month. We're past the halfway mark so it's still salvageable.
