I'm still reeling from the effects of yesterday's run. My left foot is aching. I went through my morning stretches but I don't think I'll be able to run tomorrow. I might have to walk it instead. I don't want to aggravate it any further. I probably pushed my body too hard.
For today, I completed writing assignments that had been lingering from earlier this week. The only thing I have left is to beat Pokemon--or at least half of it. I was supposed be at the third gym by now but I haven't woken up Snorlax yet.
As you may have noticed, I'm doing a MyGM series. I made slow progress at first but I ended up simulating the entire season. I was planning to play games after every simulated loss, but I got lazy and wondered if my team was good enough to just blaze through everything. Apparently, it was. So MyGM will probably finished quicker than I thought. Makes me feel dumb for setting up everything so carefully.
One thing I realized about myself, I get real angry when I lose. I want to win at all costs, even if it means fudging the sliders. I want to play as little games as possible. If my team is good enough to sim victories, then I have fulfilled my job as GM. I just want to get to the draft already. Once this year is over, I'll be one third of the way to owning the Lakers. I've already got 50,000 VC waiting to be dropped on the team.
I started reading The Road and it took be some time to get used to the writing. McCarthy really hates punctuation, doesn't he? It's kind of cool, and some of the expressions he uses are pure class. I need to learn from this guy.
