I woke up at 5 and went to work super early. Why would I get up at such a godforsaken hour? Because I had an interview that afternoon. If I wanted to get there, I'd have to get out early.
It was an interesting drive. I've only driven this early about a couple times in my life. The last time I could remember was for my final. I think it was for... Japanese? No, it couldn't be. Well... Maybe. Crap. I don't even remember anymore.
It was early enough that the sun was barely coming up. It felt like dusk, but in reverse. It felt strange since it was so dark. I'd like to try driving out into the open and watch the sun rise like they do in those car commercials. They might be on to something.
It was nice to get off work with daylight outside. I got home, changed my clothes, and went to the interview. I think I did alright. Since I have a job in my back pocket, I'm not too fussed about it. If I get an offer, I'm gonna have to weigh the pros and cons. While I'd like to make more money, I like how flexible and easygoing my current job is too.
