My friends and I went out to visit the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. We drank at Raya, the hotel's bar. The place sure is fancy, but the Mandarin is still a step above. It was a nice glimpse into the high life. Afterwards, we went to Dave and Buster's. I got three drinks for the price of one. Talk about a value discrepancy. At least the ambiance tax makes a lot more sense at the Ritz Carlton than the obscene markup you see in clubs.
The damage to my wallet from Black Friday was bigger than I expected since I wasn't planning on buying anything. My wardrobe needed new additions though, and it's not like Black Friday comes around every month. In exchange for the next couple months of my shopping budget, I semi-splurged. I'm not allowed to buy anything until next year.
When I got home, a relative snuck in with me. He was showing off a new DSLR he nabbed on BF. I don't know how a high school junior like him has enough cash to be buying $500 cameras.
I've realized the need to adapt to my present circumstances. Changes must be made to accommodate my schedule. That's why my Event Logs are becoming shorter. I'd rather not cut my activities entirely, but if it becomes too challenging, I'll simply change the end product to something more suitable.
Brevity, as they say, is the soul of wit.
