This marks the fourth consecutive day that I've updated one of my stories. Am I on a roll? Maybe. The key is to start the next chapter as fast as possible. There was more urgency with Sora's Epic Journey since I wanted it done, pronto. With Mister Cinderella, I finished what I already had. I don't know if another update for MC will follow, but I'll try my best. I must admit, I'm in an unusual writing mood.
One of the reasons I don't update often is that writing a chapter takes up a whole day, even if the chapter is short. I read over my chapters out loud when I revise, and reading out loud takes up a lot more time than reading with my eyes. I'm able to catch most mistakes with this method, but it doesn't catch everything. I'm all about flow. If it doesn't come out of my mouth smoothly, then I have to change it up.
I spent some time writing up another story. It's nothing long and I probably won't post it. It's one of those "how does this look on paper?" situations. A friend of mine is writing a new story from the perspective of a girl with a liberal approach to sex. I read the first chapter and it stirred up some ideas for one of my own stories. I jokingly titled it "Sluts Are People Too," but that's just a placeholder. It's an Larxene x Sora story. It's equal parts "stop slut shaming" and "hey, I can make this crack couple totally work!" It's hard to bust out new stories when I'm in the process of getting rid of all my old ones. I'll keep it on file. Maybe I can work on it piece by piece. I promised myself that I wouldn't post anything new unless it was done from start to finish.
