I used a FAQ for all of Chapter 5. Game woulda been a wild goose chase without one. I was too far gone past the point of caring. I just wanted it done. In hindsight, without the FAQ, I have no idea how I could have solved any of it on my own. No big loss. The actions to advance became progressively more annoying to achieve, especially when you toss in warp points. The hint system is also completely useless. I'm glad I can cross that series off my list. The only Telltale game left in my backlog is Sam and Max. Let's hope they fare better.
I waited too long to go on my walk but I did it anyways. It was after 8 by the time I got home. I didn't think it was a particularly outstanding walk. My cough is getting better though. At this point, it's all mental. I'm only coughing because I'm used to it. I don't actually need to cough. Bad habits die hard.
I caught up on some old mangas. One of them was Ousama Game. I first read it almost four years ago (or even longer) but it finally finished. It ended up being 25 chapters long. It's a horror manga but halfway through, life is devalued by so many deaths, I just wanted it end. There were no stakes since I didn't care anymore. The ending is trash. The reason for everything is stupid and the ending makes no sense. In the absence of hope, there's no reason to continue. It's true for characters trying to survive and for audiences sticking with a story.
