That phrase has been getting a lot of work lately. First, in regards to the PS4, and secondly, with Justin Wong in Evo 2014. I was rooting for him and I couldn't be any happier that he took it in MAHVEL. He had to clear out the best in the biz on his run, including last year's champion, Flockr, the villain, FilipinoChamp, and the favorite, ChrisG. I feel like this Evo crown is more impressive considering how mature the game is.
That's why I can't say I'm impressed with USF4 grand finals. The game is too young. Not to take anything away from Luffy's achievement, but it's like winning the championship during a lockout season. Yeah, you won it all, but I'm putting an asterisk on there just because. The base game is fundamentally the same, but the finer details change everything. Maybe I'm just bitter SnakeEyes got eliminated. You know everybody's gonna be working on anti-Fei, anti-Rose, and anti-Gief tech after this.
I connected with my online friends again for another game of Cards Against Humanity. A new wrinkle was thrown in when randoms entered our game. It didn't matter, because I won 4 times out of 6. What can I say? I'm a beast.
I caught up with Taiyou no Ie. I thought I had 20 more chapters, so I was disappointed when I reached the end. I feel bad for Daiki, probably because I relate to him. When will he get his day in the sun?
