I played Destiny. What else is new?
Bungie introduced a new wrinkle with the Iron Banner event. All gear stats are NOT normalized. I didn't realize this until the middle of the first match. It's a good thing I was mostly geared out--at least in armor. I had to use a Galahad Auto-Rifle because the other guns don't really cut it for me.
In PvE, I can own with any kind of weapon (except for pulse rifles, and the Sahara), but in PvP? I have to use ARs, no question. I rolled with a party again and it was games all day long. It really messed with my diet. I ended up eating two donuts, a big cup of noodles, and spaghetti. Not a balanced meal, but time flies when you're killing Guardians.
I called it a break and finally played some Dragon's Teeth with my friend in BF4. I don't know how I feel about these new maps. It might because we lost a lot, but I'm not a big fan at the moment. Obviously, I need to up my map knowledge, but the games have been stupidly one-sided so far. Maybe once Dragon's Teeth is opened up to non-Premium members, I won't get killed by level 100+ douchebags running with this gun called a Bulldog that kills me super-fast. That thing needs to be nerfed immediately. I still haven't even unlocked those guns from previous expansions. Maybe once I sink my teeth into this dragon, we'll be tearing it up in no time. But for now? I'll be raging like a demon on steroids.
