I tried calling the number again--two times, actually. The first time, she was busy on the line. The second time, she was in a meeting. I left my number again, but with absolutely no expectation of a callback because they've established a pattern of not calling back despite leaving messages and numbers. Yeesh, if you want me to stop, just tell me so I can stop wasting my time already. I'll give this one more shot tomorrow. Today and yesterday, I called in the afternoon. I might have to attack earlier in the day at around ten o'clock or something.
To add insult to injury, I got a reply for my phone interview last Thursday. REJECTED. At least they had the courtesy to tell me, unlike those folks at Contract Services Group. So my job hunt is in the dumps at the moment. I'm gonna have to bolster my personal website. I've been holding off on updating it because of laziness. Desperate times demand action, however.
So that today wouldn't feel like a total waste, I worked on the next and final chapter of Sora's Epic Journey Through Fanfiction. Once I finished the rough draft, I made a final pass in the Doc Manager and changed the ending. It's more appropriate now. Originally, Sora and Olette are supposed to be in the hallway and they have to decide whether or not to open the door to Kairi's room. He opens it because YOHO (you only horror once) and the story ends ambiguously. But in the revision stage, I found an opportunity to make things even worse, and I can't resist making things worse! The story, more or less, followed my grand design. I'm satisfied.
