I decided to add some extra to my workout routine yesterday. I'm glad I waited until the end of the week to do so, because today, I was absolutely wrecked. I was barely able to get through my workout, but I did it somehow. At least I have the entire weekend to recuperate.
Since I'm writing this from the future, let me warn you: the next three days have been nothing but Destiny. I partied up with some guys from NeoGAF, and I'm so glad I did. Playing in a full party is great. There's actual teamwork! I mostly found myself in second place, and this is the spot I like the most. It means that there's someone way better than me that I can rely on, but I'm no slouch myself. I'm not the best player, and although I can get hot sometimes, you gotta appreciate a guy whose consistently excellent. In my experience, if I'm the best guy on the team, we lose.
Sony was generous enough to offer me an extra beta code, so I gave it to my friend. When I thought about it, I could play with him too, so I got another beta code from GAF. I tried it out and man, it is really blurry compared to the PS4 version, but it's surprisingly solid. It's awesome that the characters transfer between PS3 and PS4 too. There's no cross-platform play, but the characters carry over. I played some PvP and got a ridiculous 22-1 record. How you like that 22 ratio? Of course, I've seen gaudier online.
If I'm good at a game, I like it. Considering how well I do in Destiny, I can safely say: I like this game. In the eternal words of Big Boss: I want some more!
